Reading manager Brian McDermott has come out and said that there has been no contact from Fulham about the highly rated midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson. The 20 year old had an excellent season at Reading last year but signed a new contract at the end of last year. McDermott says that this is merely apeculation close to the end of the transfer window.
“You get that kind of talk with 10 days to go before the transfer window closes,” McDermott told getreading.
“We’ve heard nothing from Fulham.”
He would be a very good player to pick up and could become a very good replacment for Muphy over the coming years.
