Fulham manager Mark Hughes has set his sights on more signings after landing AZ Alkmaar attacker Moussa Dembele.

“It’s important that we go into the season with some additions to the squad that will enable us to compete at a consistently high level throughout the season.” Hughes said.

The 23-year-old is the Welshman’s first capture as Fulham boss after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal earlier today.

But Hughes insists he isn’t ready to put the chequebook away yet with two weeks left of the transfer window.

He said: “Moussa is strong and quick and will add another dimension to our attacking options, which is important for us.

“I look forward to working with him, and hopefully, a few more additions before the window closes.”
