Zoltan Gera says he’s unaware of any transfer interest from Liverpool or any other clubs.

The Fulham midfielder was the subject of tabloid stories linking him with a move away from Craven Cottage over the past couple of days but he told a Hungarian media outlet that he has heard nothing about a potential transfer.

This is the first time I’ve heard about the interest of these teams for me.

Gera is looking forward to the possibility of facing his Fulham team-mate Bobby Zamora at Wembley tomorrow night when England host Hungary in their first game since the World Cup.

Bobby told me after the Werder Bremen game that he will see me at Wembley on Wednesday, though I wasn’t sure at that time whether he will be included in the England squad. When the final squad was announced, I called him and told him that he should ask Steven Gerrard to pass him the ball and not me.

We enjoy playing together as we play well together on the pitch but I’m delighted that he’s finally been called up.
