Iranian international Andranik Teymourian was signed by Roy Hodgson on a free transfer from Bolton Wanderers to stiffen up Fulham’s midfield but only made two first-team appearances for the club. He made his debut in an impressive 1-0 win over Arsenal in August 2008, but his only other game came in the League Cup at Manchester City. Teymourian spent time on loan at Barnlsey and returned to Fulham intending to fight for his place but failed to make a play a single game in the 2009/10 campaign before being released in June 2010.
