I was thinking recently about what player I would get on the back of a Fulham shirt of I ever got one. I used to say that it would be definatly Clint Dempsey as I love his creativeness but lately I’ve thought about the legend himself, Chris Baird. Laugh if you want but the guy is a legend. He has improved so much this year and, as I am someone from Northern Ireland, he might just get in there ahead of everyone else!

Nevland! How important wasnt he in The Great Escape season? Now with him leaving the club I’m surely gonna buy a shirt with 10 Nevland just to keep for memories.

Got the pipex Dempsey a few months after he signed (’08 was it?)…still rocking it today (well not today, doubt they’d like it at work!). It’s still hard to find a Fulham shirt (or shorts, which would get more use) stateside without forking out over $100 (or $50 for the shorts)…anybody have ideas?
Duff for me. He has been the difference this season and craetes such movement. Bobby of course is right up there. Baird not a bad choice though
I was in London last summer and my brother and I stopped by the official Fulham store so I could get a Clint Dempsey jersey. Apparently they screen the name on the back of it right there in the store. One of the employees came out after a minute and told me they were out of the letter ‘S’. So whose shirt would I get? It’s gotta be ‘Dempey’, if I get the chance again.
I haven’t had the best luck…first one I got was Liam Rosenior – he changed his number the next year, and was off to Reading the year after that. Then I got a McBride (which isn’t bad at all) but he was also gone after one more season.
I’ve thought about getting a Baird or Zamora, but if my shirt buying causes players to leave, maybe not! Perhaps a Zamora #9 from last season would be ok…
I seem to like RBs and target forwards for some reason.
I personally never (or at least extremely rarely) print the name of a player on my replicas. Mainly due to players coming and going but it is the club that is the focus of my support.
Most my FFC Shirts have “FFC Sweden” on the back, 1 have HammyEnd.com, 1 have “Nick” and 1 is the exception to the rule and say “Brevett”.
Should I have a current players name on my replica I’d go with Brede I think!
I’m contemplating a new England shirt with ‘Zamora’ on the back. What number should I get though, although he is Number 25 for the club, you don’t necessarily get your club number, would he get number 9?
I think I might get Etuhu for the coming season, or Pantsil. I havent made up my mind from them two.

At Xmas I got Zamora 25 on the home kit. Bloke doing the number in the shop said he’d never done Zamora before! I’ve seen 1 other person at the Cottage with his name on the back (on the blue 3rd kit). Person in the shop said most popular was Dempsey followed by Duff and Paintsil.
