Danny Murphy will desperate to perform against his old club
Excellent piece from Neil Jones on the folly of letting Danny Murphy leave Liverpool. Fulham have benefited greatly from their skipper’s new lease of life down by the Thames and he’ll be wanting to put in a good performance against his former side on Sunday.
If Hodgson was thinking of leaving Murphy out, he’ll have a hard job convincing his captain.
I don’t think Roy will drop Murphy. Dispite a few nervy passing, Murphy was excellent last night. Also, the fact that Fulham could potentially meet Liverpool in the final will mean that we will want to keep this one tight.
