The Daily Mail highlights an excellent performance from Fulham’s goalkeeper David Stockdale, currently on loan at Plymouth, as the reason why Argyle clung on for a point against Barnsley last night. The paper says Argyle ‘were indebted to goalkeeper David Stockdale who pulled off a string of fine saves as Barnsley fashioned the clearer openings.’

I think you’ll find Plymouth Albion are a Rugby Union team – the Daily Mail report clearly mentions Plymouth Argyle.
Dave – Indeed they are and, I should know, I watched a fair bit of both Albion and Argyle when I lived in the south west. Thanks for the correction and the article’s now been amended.
