SEMI-FINAL DRAW

The only thing I would say is that Wolfsburg got beaten in Germany by a second string Man United side when a draw would have seen them qualify for the knock out stages of the Champions League. So let’s not be too worried.
After beating the cup holders and the main favourites I’m not too worried about any team left in the tournament. (Will of course be another thing if you should ask me closer to the game then I’d be worried over a game versus HJK Helsinki even 😉 )
I actually like having the first leg at home. Jump out and hold on in Germany. I would rather do that than say…go down 3-1 and attempt another Cottage miracle.
this is completely doable. we can play with any of these teams.
We managed to avoid the teams from the Iberian peninsula which is good and Wolfsburg are a shadow of the team they were when they won last year. I guess the only other team we would have liked to have drawn is Standard, although I fancy them to shock Hamburg.
Yeah, I wonder what Wolfburg is looking like at the moment. I don’t get a chance to catch too many Bundesliga games…I’ll have to check the sched to see if they’ll be on FSC here in the states the next few weekends.
Beat Man Citeh.
After last night’s performance it’s difficult to believe that any team would be too much for our lads to handle. I’m still amazed at how Roy has built a team with depth and skill from a collection of supposedly over the hill and lesser skilled players. Coach of the Year hands down.
