The word is that Fulham’s promising Dutch striker Danny Hoesen, who has been impressive for the youth team and the reserves this season, is about to join HJK Helsinki on loan.
Hoesen scored for the second string against Chelsea on Tuesday night and a spell of first-team football on the continent might aid his development. More on this when we get it.
thanks dan 🙂
No worries. Will try and post a bit more on this tomorrow. Have you got any links to the Finnish press stories on Hoesen and HJK?
I thought you taked this story from my comment at Milsom post earlier. It is finnish paper but I google translated it to english and gave a link. It says too that Hoesen is set to land to Helsinki.
Sorry mate but the link just took me to a blank Google page. If you give me the actual link to a Finnish paper I can ask my Finnish neighbour to translate it tomorrow 😉
I know it is probably the right thing to do, but I wish he didn’t have to leave.
I enjoyed following his progress with the Reserves. I guess I can still follow his new team.
I see. Here is finnish link http://www.urheilulehti.fi/jalkapallo/hjklle-tulossa-yllatysvahvistus-fulhamista
Did you know that HJK and TPS are big rivals too. Though games between them. Especially now it this is true. Both are favorites to win Veikkausliiga this year too.
I did know that actually. Spent some time in Sweden so I know a bit about Scandinavian football. I think TPS will be getting the more developed footballer though Danny’s a good prospect.
Good to know. I hope that Rob can play good football as a left back too. Big hole there and maybe he will atleast try to play there.
