Zoltan Gera reckons Juventus struggled to cope with playing at Craven Cottage as well as Fulham’s football.

It was an unbelievable night. I think Juventus were a little bit unsettled and put off by the ground. Craven Cottage is not a big stadium. The fans are very close to the pitch, so much closer than you see elsewhere, especially at Italian stadiums.

Elsewhere, the Hungarian, who scored two goals as Fulham stormed to a 4-1 second leg win to knock out the Italians, has been backing Bobby Zamora’s claims for an international call-up.

Bobby has done very well this season and I think Mr Capello is clever enough to see who are the best strikers in England. So I don’t need to say he’s good enough or not. England have a lot of good strikers and Bobby is one of them.

He’s playing fantastic this season. He was great last season, but the difference is he’s scored more goals this time.
