Matthew Briggs captained the England U19s and made the Young Lions’ goal as they draw 1-1 with Holland in Waalwijk last night.
The Fulham defender played in Jacob Melis for England’s seventh minute opner and although the Dutch grabbed a late equaliser thanks to a deflected free-kick, Briggs and England could be happy with their performance.
