It looks like Amauri is set to miss both legs of Fulham’s Europa League tie against Juventus after limping out of the Italian side’s draw with Roma on Thursday night with a thigh injury.

The 29-year-old forward, who has scored five goals for Juve this season, lasted just fourteen minutes before being substituted in the goalless draw that set up a last sixteen meeting with Fulham. He missed yesterday’s 2-0 defeat by Palermo and is expected to miss most of March, according to a club statement.

Amauri underwent tests following the injury suffered during the match against Ajax. The tests confirmed the diagnosis made after the match. The prognosis is of 25 days [absence].

Juventus are already without legendary goalkeeper Gianliugi Buffon, who also expected to be missing for a month with a thigh complain.
