Interesting stat from Football 365:
Right-back Chris Baird had more touches of the ball than any other Premier League player this weekend.
Impressive considering just how badly his – and Fulham’s afternoon started.

He passed the ball 72 times! In our system right-back always gets a lot of the ball. Even when Pantsil was there it was, for some reason, the position we use to bring the ball forward. But Baird has taken it to a new level. He completed something like 70% of his passes; amazing when you consider the number of long, defense-splitting ones he attempted. Turning into a great player.
He’s a cracking player is Chris Baird. As you say, some of those balls were delightful – especially the long pass that freed Simon Davies for our first real chance of the afternoon.
