Swansea snubbed late swoop for Angel Rangel

According to this, Swansea turned down a late enquiry from Fulham for their Spanish right-back Angel Rangel. Since he’s out of contract in the summer, perhaps the fee was the stumbling block.

    Interesting fact about him from wikipedia:

    “As a teenager he missed 18 months of playing time due to having a toe amputated. He now plays with a specially designed boot.”
