David Stockdale is set to sign on for another month on loan at Plymouth having impressed in his initial spell on loan at Home Park.

The Fulham goalkeeper has managed to break into the Argyle first team and was outstanding in last night’s 1-1 draw with Swansea. Plymouth boss Paul Mariner confirmed that Stockdale, who has made an impressive start to his Fulham career, will remain with the Championship club for another month.

He is returning for another month. We’re trying to get it [for longer] but we’re happy with what [Fulham manager] Roy Hodgson and his staff have asked.

My viewpoint is that he’s improved the team. He helps the unit and he helps the back four, so we’re delighted that he’s joined us.
