A few things I’ve noticed ahead of the big game tonight:
- Fulham haven’t conceded in their last four games.
- Fulham have won their last two Europa League fixtures.
- Fulham have not lost a European home tie. They were knocked out of the 2002-03 UEFA Cup after a draw at Loftus Road with Hertha Berlin.
- Shakhtar have won six of their eight Europa League fixtures this season.
- They scored 14 goals in their six group games – making them the third highest scorers in the competition.
- Shakhtar skipper Darijo Srna has played against Fulham before in our UEFA Cup first round tie against Hajduk Split in 2002.
