Ahead of tonight’s game against Shakhtar, people have been commenting on just how well Fulham have done in Europe this year. Which is nice, but we don’t want the adventure to end yet. The truly remarkable thing, as Rich outlined here yesterday, is just how European experience there is in Roy Hodgson’s squad.
Two things pop up from that list apart from how many games our boys have played in continental competition before. 1) Aaron Hughes has played on an awful lot of European nights. 2) How good is Bobby Zamora’s strike rate? We’d definitely take another goal tonight.
