Fulham have complained to Shakhtar Donetsk after the arrival times of the players, their travel itinerary, hotel bookings and training sessions were posted on the UEFA Cup holders’ website. Although the details were taken down, there was enough time for people to access the information and make a note of it.

The incident follows Shakhtar’s squad being banned from shopping at Harrods before the first game in London, something for which Fulham chairman and Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed later apologised. Roy Hodgson tried to play down the issue at his pre-match press conference.

I think the owner of the club also owns the hotel where we are staying and I think he likes to get a bit of publicity for it.
