Okaka loan deal agreed

Sky Sports News are reporting that Fulham and AS Roma have agreed a loan deal for Stefano Okaka, which should be finalised on Tuesday when the Italian comes to London.

Very good news.

    Good news. From what we saw in the games against Roma, he looks to be a promising player. And, perhaps more importantly, he is different to the other strikers that we have at the club. Certainly an upgrade on Uwezu, who would perhaps be the closest alternative!

    Yeah. So perhaps a Zamora/Uwezu hybrid would be more appropriate!

    He looks a busy player to me. A mixture of the two kind of strikers we’ve got at the club. He’s got the physique to be good in the air (as he was to score that header in Rome) but also the pace to worry defences in behind. It will be interesting to see how Roy handles him and, equally, just how long the loan deal is for.
