Robert Lewandowski won’t be lining up in a Fulham shirt at the end of this transfer window after his club Lech said they wouldn’t be selling their star striker in January.

The highly-rated Polish international had been widely tipped to make a move to England, with Fulham leading the race to sign him (and he was reportedly keen on the move), but Lech president Andrzej Kadzinski says a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ means Lewandowski won’t be leaving until the summer at the earliest.

We have told him that if an interesting offer comes in the summer, we will not put obstacles in his way.
