Calling it a Greek tragedy before it had even started would have been a bit harsh. But it really is make or break for Eddie Johnson now. Cut adrift at Fulham, and with no real hope of making it back into Roy Hodgson’s plans, the American needs to ressurect his career at FC Aris Thessaloniki and fast. The conventional wisdom Stateside is that he’ll struggle to make Bob Bradley’s squad for the World Cup, but at least he’ll have Freddy Adu for company in Greece.
