This pesky little fella won’t go away. From today’s Indy:

Fulham are trying to revive their loan deal for the Roma striker Stefano Okaka. Fulham pulled out earlier this month when Hodgson thought that he did not need the cover for Bobby Zamora but Clint Dempsey’s long-term injury has forced the club to reassess. They are expected to sign Okaka until the end of the season.

Gazetta dello Sport says that Tony Pulis is interested in taking Okaka to Stoke. Where would that leave James Beattie? The Italian paper also has Fulham reviving their interest in the Italian under-21 international.

Other reports have the initial deal not collapsing due to an injury to Okaka, but because Roma want £250,000 as a fee for the loan to go ahead.
