Tonight was a match that I had hoped for 3 points from especially considering Stoke’s bad run of form. And the loss of Zamora just added insult to injury. Perhaps the potential signing of Okaka will be better than we expected!
I have just seen the briefest of highlights from Sky Sports and was horrified by what I saw. The defence was a shambles which is very unusual for Fulham. However let us think back to our horrific performance at West Ham last year. We were probably due a bad performance so lets just concentrate on Portsmouth’s visit on Saturday. If we don’t get 3 points then we can worry!
My god calm down. We could lose 5-0 on Saturday to Portsmouth and still be fine. These things happen over a long season. We’re not in any relegation danger, so come off the ledge.
I think questions would be asked if we lost 5-0 at home to Portsmouth, Jason, but I take your general point.
Personally, I don’t see this as three points dropped because I very rarely budget for away wins and Stoke’s about one of the toughest places you can go. The worry would be if we don’t bounce back quickly and have one of those post-Christmas slides that’s afflicted Fulham teams in the past.
