Bobby Zamora modestly says he feels everything’s coming together after his brace fired Fulham into the knockout stages of the Europa League.
Zamora, criticised last season for his lack of goals, has added finishing to his fine all round game. His two goals before half-time last night broke Basel’s resolve and took him to nine in total for the season.
Last year I probably worked as hard and did all the other bits and pieces but the goals didn’t come and people overlooked the rest of it. Now there are one or two goals going in and people are taking a second look at me. Everything seems to be clicking.
