Roy Hodgson has highlighted Manchester United’s makeshift defence as something that his Fulham side could exploit at Craven Cottage tomorrow.

The Fulham manager will be hoping for a repeat of last season’s unexpected victory over the champions and points to an lengthy list of injured defenders as a reason to think his team could get something out of this game.

At the moment they are weaker than when we played them last year because they don’t have Neville, Ferdinand and Vidic playing for them. They don’t even have the players that Sir Alex would like to replace them with like (Wes) Brown, (John) O’Shea and Jonny Evans so that’s the obvious weakness.

Sir Alex has great qualities, I could sit here and talk about him all afternoon. I have known him for a long time and there is nothing but praise you can shower upon him. They deserve the utmost respect and that’s what we will give them tomorrow.
