Good news from the FA Youth Cup tonight. Fulham won 3-0 at Stockport County and progress to the fourth round of the competition.

Courteney Harris opened the scoring with a clever run and finish from the left angle of the box to give the visitors the lead on 10 minutes and the highly rated Marcello Trotta punished some slack marking at a corner to make 2-0 six minutes later.

Stockport improved markedly in the second period and created several good chances. The closest they came to getting back in the contest was when Steven Murty struck the base of the post on 73 minutes and Fulham made sure of their spot in round four – where they will play the winners of the tie between Bournemouth and Bolton, which takes place on Friday – with a third goal from former Walsall striker Richard Peniket.
