Claudio Ranieri has still not lost against Fulham. In the back of his mind somewhere, the ex-Chelsea manager must be wondering how after those two games.

These post-match comments don’t mention Fulham’s performance or the two red cards.

In the first half we couldn’t build up our play, but the second was very good. The important thing is that the lads never gave up, continuing to work at the game even though it was not as fluid as we’d like. The absence of so many starters was a burden, but it went alright.

UPDATE: It looks like Ranieri thinks the rules are clear.

It always helps to play with an extra man, but I’d say the red card was a clear foul. The rules speak clearly, if you hack down a player from behind, then you’re out.
