Reports from Italy suggest that Juan is a major doubt for Roma’s Europa League meeting with Fulham on Thursday.
Il Tempo reported this morning that Juan will be monitored over the next couple of days after the Brazilan limped out of Roma’s 2-1 win over Bologna at half time with a calf strain.
Claudio Ranieri will have to do without the inspirational Francesco Totti, but should have defender Nicolas Burdisso and David Pizarro, who made such an impact as a substitute at Craven Cottage the other week, back and available for selection. Jeremy Menez, who missed a penalty in the 1-1 draw, is a doubt after picking up a groin injury in yesterday’s game at the Stadio Olimpico.
