I haven’t paid too much attention to the press reports linking Robert Koren with a move to Fulham as I felt we had enough midfielders to see us through to the summer after Roy Hodgson’s activities in the last transfer window.

Weekend paper stories hinted that Koren would be interested in a move after he lost his central midfield place at West Brom and this quote from Roberto Di Matteo suggests he might be inclined to allow the Slovenian to leave.

We will have to see what is the best solution.

If Koren did come to Fulham – far from a forgone conclusion with the likes of Birmingham and Celtic apparently interested in his services – how many ex-Baggies would be in our squad? Considering we’ve taken Jonathan Greening, Zoltan Gera and Diomansy Kamara in┬árecent seasons, Hawthorns regulars might be justified in being a little sick of hearing about Fulham.
