Fulham are preparing to make a £2m offer for Poland Under-21 international Ariel Borysiuk, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Whites have been watching the Legia Warsaw midfielder for two years and are now ready to try and sign the teenager in January. Borysiuk, aged just 18, has won five caps for his country at under-21 level and is the second-youngest player ever to score in the Polish top flight.

A Fulham source told the Mirror: “We have kept an eye on Borysiuk ever since he made his league debut a couple of years ago when he was 16. It is clear that the Polish league is rather weak, but we see growth and untapped potential in him.

“He controls the midfield with immense grace, confidence, comfort and skill for his age. There’s still a lot of room for improvement. He will only get better, and with our resources he would become a star.”
