Fulham are hoping to gain an increased amount from shirt sponsorship when their deal with current sponsors LG runs out on the end of the year.
The club believe that Liverpool’s record £20m deal with Standard Chartered, the increased interest from overseas business and investors in the Premier League of late and Fulham’s participation in the Europa League should help them secure a better deal in this round of negotiations. The Cottagers hope to pocket £5.5m from shirt sponsorship rights and believe LG would be willing to pay that figure to continue their association with the London club.
As long as it isn’t another betting firm, I’d be happy for any sponsor if it brings more money into the club
Quite like the LG sponsorship but I fancy the club will have to look elsewhere to get upwards of £5m for a shirt deal in this economic climate. Perhaps our new friends at Fenway might have some ideas?
