Bobby Zamora said Fulham were ‘over the moon’ after claiming a crucial win over Hull City last night.

Zamora, often a divisive figure amongst the Fulham faithful, had a terrific game last night. He showed razor-sharp reactions to react to Boaz Myhill pushing away Damien Duff’s fierce drive and head the opening goal past a stranded goalkeeper. Zamora turned provided in the second half, his storming run and cross creating a simple tap-in for his strike partner Diomansy Kamara.

We dominated the game with good possession, good football and good chances. Maybe we should have got more goals but we’re over the moon.

The hard work has paid off. In previous games we’ve worked hard and not got the result we deserved but we deserve the three points tonight.
