Clint Dempsey has added to Fulham’s injury crisis by picking up a shoulder strain.
The American midfielder will miss his country’s World Cup qualifier in Honduras after sustaining the injury when he was fouled by Luis Jimenez in Fulham’s 2-2 draw at West Ham on Sunday. US Soccer say that Dempsey will be monitored throughout the week to see if he take part in the USA’s final qualifier against Costa Rica on October 14 in Washington D.C.
