Brown finishes up with TPS

Thanks to Timmy over at the Fulham Offside, we can catch up with Wayne Brown’s final thoughts on his loan spell with TPS.

That his team missed out on the title obviously disappointed Brown, but he’s got plenty to be pleased about from a personal point of view. He scored nine goals in his 25 appearances and was named ‘Midfielder of the Year’.

I’m a little bit happy and disappointed. It’s great to finish third, and it’s great for the club that they’ve got a place in Europe, but on the other hand we could have won the league. We messed up in two really important games, away against Jaro and Mypa, and that’s what’s cost us the championship.

Timmy also tells us that TPS shirts are selling for 20 euros – I’m actually quite tempted to get one.

    Funny, I was thinking of getting one too. And you for 30 euros you can personalize it!

    What was Brown’s number again?

    Dan, one of the best players we have seen in TPS history. We really, really loved him and still do. All the best for Wayne, i will follow his career very closely. I think nobody would believe before the season that loan player from england will play football here with AMAZING playing attitude and great skills. Btw, i just uploaded video about Brown.     You think they’d actually entertain that? Might be worth having a word with Gav Stone of Les Rosbifs as he’d had quite a few dealings with TPS since Browny went over there.

    My dad use to coach Wayne Brown and we have been urging the Fulham coaches to give him a shot in the first team. Quality little player going forward is what we need a few more goals from midfield. Really pleased he made an impact at TPS and hopefully will mean good things for him and your team as well.

    I am interested in a TPS shirt also with #21 W.Brown on it.
