Sunday could be interesting if Gianfranco Zola gets the thunder he’s after from his West Ham players.

The London derby is just as important to Fulham, who sit just a place above the Hammers in the table after an unlucky defeat to Arsenal last Saturday. Zola was angered by West Ham’s performance at Manchester City on Monday and has resolved to put it right.

We are preparing for a cup final on Sunday so everybody will be producing the best thunder they can give, including myself. We have one week to prepare and starting on Sunday, we will be different.

I am angry with myself, my team and with everybody right now. Not everyone, including myself, is doing what he is capable of. It’s as simple as that.

Of course we are much better than our position suggests, but at the moment we haven’t been able to show it. Belief is the main thing. Then there has to be a better effort from everybody. I know the potential of these players and I’ve no doubt that we will soon come back to the position we deserve. But for the moment, it’s not good enough.
