Poor old AJ by Dan | Sep 16, 2009 | Uncategorized | 4 comments Brilliant little clip from just after Fulham’s win over Everton on Sunday. Look how crestfallen AJ looks when Roy misses him completely. Thanks: ASPT on TIFF 4 Comments Jack on September 16, 2009 at 6:09 pm He shouldn’t have given up so easily. Didn’t want to look put off I suppose. That has happened to me many times in the past, it is one of those awkward moments, where you hope nobody noticed. 🙂 Dan on September 16, 2009 at 9:06 pm Yeah, that’s a good point Jack. I would have been hanging the high five out for as long as possible to make sure that Roy saw me. I know just how awkward it can be having been in that very situation on several ocassions. It was a great spot as I didn’t see the incident either at the ground or when I was watching the coverage later. The Beeb did show Johnson’s poor attempt at kicking off though – so I guess it wasn’t a great day for poor AJ. Still, he can console himself with an excellent assist for Duff’s goal. Badger on September 17, 2009 at 1:02 pm Yep, very good spot! I missed that also because I was trying to figure out what Roy was saying to bug eyes. It looked like he said something along the lines of the first goal FFC scored should have been dis-allowed!! Dan on September 17, 2009 at 3:26 pm Surely not – unless Moyes was grumbling about the award of the free kick that led to the equaliser. Although I didn’t realise it at the time, we’ve got a very good claim for having Cahill’s goal chalked off as he was standing in an offside position when the free-kick came in.
