Roy Hodgson expects Fulham to begin new contract talks with defender Brede Hangeland now that the transfer window has closed.
Hodgson and Hangeland spent most of the summer months playing down rumours of a possible transfer to Arsenal with the Norwegian defender always insisting that he was happy at Craven Cottage. The Fulham manager believes that discussions about a new contract for his defender will begin shortly.
I believe Hangeland’s agent is quite keen to sit down with the chief executive to discuss his contract.
Great news. Hopefully they can come to an agreement quickly and we can watch Brede in a Fulham shirt for many years to come.
