Diomansy Kamara is poised to join Bolton on a season-long loan, according to Sky Sports News.
That must mean that Fulham are planning to sign a new forward or we’ll be incredibly light up front.
UPDATE: This post has been slighty edited (as per the comments below) to ensure that newer visitors to the site don’t assume the deal has been completed. Sky are now saying that the clubs are in talks over a season-long loan. More news as and when it comes.
I can’t see this happening, especially with the number of games we have and the injuries to AJ and Zamora. Dio is reported as saying that his reason for staying at Fulham was because Roy wanted him here, “100%”.
On another note, I can’t see how this makes financial sense for Fulham as well. If we need the money to bring in strikers, we would be looking for a permanent deal for Dio, not a loan – his wages cannot be that high. Surely he would be a better bet than Eddie Johnson to come off the bench.
I for one really hope that this doesn’t happen, and won’t believe it has until I see confirmation on the offal. I will be very disappointed if it does go through.
The scrolling yellow ‘breaking news’ bar now says that Fulham and Bolton are in talks over a year-long loan deal, which is different to what one of their presenters was saying about 15 mins ago. I wouldn’t be wild about this one either, but you have to hope that it means we’re planning on bringing a striker in before the deadline.
