Reports from Finland claim that Fulham have signed 17 year-old Finnish goalkeeper Jesse Joronen on a three-year contract. The Whites apparently saw off interest from Liverpool to secure his signature.
This suggests that Fulham’s youth recruitment from overseas is really gathering pace. Joronen will have to work hard just to secure a place in either the reserve or youth team as Fulham have two promising prospects in Neil Etheridge and Wesley Foderingham.
