Fulham have completed the signing of Sutton striker Stefan Payne for an initial fee of £25,000 that could rise to ten times that figure.
Sutton manager Paul Doswell has wished the 18-year-old striker, an instant hit since joining from Croydon in the summer, all the best at Fulham.
Stefan has got half a chance to make it as a professional. He has raw pace, strength and the right attitude. We’re absolutely delighted for him.If he doesn’t make it at Fulham, with the schooling he’ll get there he’ll get another chance lower down the pro level.
