Damien Duff has reportedly been ruled out of Fulham’s Europa League group game against CSKA Sofia with a knee injury.

It is a big blow for Roy Hodgson as Duff scored the winner in Sunday’s win over Everton at Craven Cottage. The Republic of Ireland winger was taken off as a precaution towards the end of the game, but had insisted afterwards that he would be fit to play in Sofia.

The report goes on to claim that Hodgson will make nine changes from the side that took the field against Everton, although that seems a little drastic for him – even with a trip to Wolves at the weekend on the horizon.
