I’ve always loved that Bobby Zamora.
Our under-fire striker got a bit of fortune to open the scoring at Fratton Park. Clint Dempsey tried a speculative shot from all of 25 yards which hit Zamora on the back and left David James with no chance.
Before that, Fulham had the game’s only other clear cut chance. Danny Murphy’s free-kick was pushed away by James with the goalkeeper under pressure from Brede Hangeland.
