According to the official Premier League website, the injury that Andy Johnson sustained tonight will rule him out for up to eight weeks. It seems as though he has dislocated his shoulder after a brutal body check by an Amkar Perm defedner.
However, this is the only place I can find this information and it comes very quickly so I don’t know how reliable it is. I’ll update as I hear more.
UPDATE- Sky sports have the same story so I fear that this may be true. I think it might be time forRoy to step up his bid for Kalu Uche or another striker!

Yes he has dislocated collar bone and will be out for 8 weeks. Roy says he is tempted to say he would prefer to have lost than lose Johnson. An awful assault by all accounts.
In Roys interview he soounds pretty angry!! I have to say that I agree with what he says though. Johnson will be missed but hopefully we can sign another striker!
It happened pretty muh in front of me in the JH stand. Aweful challenge with no attempt what so ever to get the ball. Shocked to read it was his sholder/coller bone as he seemed to be holing his knee. Sad as he and BZ looked really sharp.
