Reports from France indicate that the Marouane Chamakh saga has taken another turn.

L’Equipe suggests that Arsenal have pulled out of a bid to sign the Morrocan striker and hints that Fulham would be the favourites to sign Chamakh. West Ham are also interest but their opening bid of around 5 million euros would be less than half Bordeaux’s 12m euros valuation of the player. Fulham are believed to be in pole position as they would be willing to offer Diomansy Kamara, someone Bordeaux have highlighted as a potential replacement for Chamakh should he leave, plus cash.

I still feel this is a bit too far-fetched to be true, but would love to be proved wrong.
