Andranik Teymourian scored a late winner to seal a fine comeback from Iran as they beat Bosnia-Herzegovina in a thrilling friendly in Sarajevo last night.

One-time Fulham target Edin Dzeko seemed to put the home side on their way to a straightforward win with two second half goals but they reckoned without the character and resistance shown by the Iranians. Masoud Shojaei got them back into it with a goal 19 minutes from time and they were level with four minutes left when substitute Arash Borhani scored.

Andranik, who remains on the fringe of the Fulham first-team, capped the comeback with the winner in stoppage time after being played in by Shojaei.
