I’m sure you don’t need reminding but the Whites are back in action tonight.
Roy Hodgson is expected to take a strong squad to Bournemouth for the friendly against the League Two side. The fixture at Dean Court – and Saturday’s game against Peterborough – should prove useful warm-ups for next week, when Fulham will return to European competition with the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie at either FK Vetra or HJK Helsinki.
The reserves are also in action tonight a little closer to home at Blue Square South side Woking. Both matches kick off at 7.45pm and I hope to have reports from the fixtures in due course.
Too bad no online radio coverage available. Doesn’t GJ need a pre-season too? Just saying.
Think GJ probably needs a long summer rest given how much energy he expends during a game. What’s a little more worrying is that there’s no news on whether our Europa League next week will be screened live or covered by a radio station. I suppose we might get some news once our opponents are confirmed on Thursday night.
Sorry to be picky…. but Woking are actually a Blue Square South side now, they got relegated last season
Thanks for that Liam. Corrected now.
