Blackburn Rovers have rebuffed Fulham’s approach for midfielder Keith Andrews.
The Whites didn’t lodge a formal bid for the Irish international and Sam Allardyce has made it clear that the 29 year-old won’t be leaving Ewood Park. Andrews scored four goals in 27 appearances for Rovers last term in an outstanding season as Blackburn successfully overcame a serious injury crisis to avoid the drop.
Roy Hodgson’s attempts to add midfield reinforcements with Fulham’s European commitments in mind will now have to switch to other targets.
