Diomansy Kamara has insisted that he is happy at Fulham amidst reports of interest from French club Girondins de Bordeaux.

The Ligue 1 champions are believed to be targeting the former West Bromwich Albion front man as a possible replacement for Marouane Chamakh, who appears to be edging closer to a move to Sunderland.

Kamara, whose Premier League campaign last season was riddled with injury, admitted to being flattered by the interest, but is not looking to fashion a move away from Craven Cottage.

“It is a great honour to be linked with the French champions, but I have had no contact yet – maybe my agents have,” he told Sky Sports. “However, I have a contract until 2011, so it is up to the club. I am not asking to leave, but if there is a deal that can make everyone happy, you never know. But I like it here and I am looking forward to a great season without injury.”
