Looks like Bobby Zamora is still Hull’s number one striking target.

Phil Brown is back to talking up Bobby’s attributes. Zamora’s critics will love this quote:

Fans may question how prolific Bobby is but his hold-up play is exceptional.

Our old shaggy-haired friend is keen on a reunion with his old mucker too.

Bobby is a good centre forward, his play with his back to goal is brilliant. He’s as good as I’ve played with up top.

I played with him for a year and enjoyed every minute of it, he’ll be a great asset if we can get him.

I’ve spoken to him a couple of times, asked him if he’s coming up, and he isn’t giving much away – but hopefully we’ll get him.

If Jimmy enjoyed it so much, why did he go on strike?

The Mirror says that Hull and Zamora will have talks today aimed at concluding the deal.
