The Guardian think that AC Milan’s interest in Peter Crouch will force us to look elsewhere for strikers.
They come up with a rumour I haven’t heard before:
That means Fulham won’t get the gangly striker so will resort to brawling with Stoke for the services of forgotten Manchester City striker Benjani Mwaruwari
It’s definitely plausible as Benjani looks certain to be on his way out of City with Mark Hughes in the market for two or three new strikers. Whether it’s true, we’ll just have to wait and see.
